As I write this I’ll be heading off to Los Paseos to speak to the faculty about Beautiful Day. I’m a little nervous! Anyway that’s the reason for this note. On November 18 we will be participating in an event that is designed for us to meet needs by showing compassion in our community. I’m hoping for 100% participation. During this day we will be joining with the school to complete projects in the classrooms, around the school, and complete the life science classroom we started this past summer.

We will be participating in two ways. First we will be taking an offering for Beautiful Day this Sunday. We encourage that this offering be above normal tithes and offerings. 100% of what is given will go to the projects that we do on Saturday. Second, we need workers. If you can give an hour, 3 hours, or the entire day it will be appreciated. This is our way to let the parents, teachers, and students know that we care for them. We will have a sign-up sheet on Sunday. 

My prayer is that opportunities will arise for us to build platforms in our community and show the love of Christ to those we form relationships with. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
