Isaiah 41:13
For I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear I will help you.

Observation/Application: I remember the days where I needed to help my kids cross the street. They really were precious moments of holding my kids hands and helping them walk when it was safe and clear.  I was also there to protect as well. This is the picture I get when I read Isaiah 41:13. Unfortunately, I don’t ask for help enough. I get prideful and like my kids I want to do it myself. There is a conflict with in me. On one hand the picture of God Almighty holding my hand, protecting me, and guiding me is so comforting.  On the other hand I want to do things myself. Let’s spend the day thinking about the things in our life where we need help right now. Then let’s ask for it!

Prayer: Lord reveal the areas in my life where I need your hand and help. Thank you for providing help through Jesus and may I put away my pride and take your hand with JOY.

Blessings,

Steve
