Isaiah 45:11
11 "This is what the LORD says-- the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands? 12 It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts."

Observation/Application: This is a reminder I need a lot! Who am I to question the Holy One. Yet I do. God why did my wife have to get a disease? God why did you respond this way?  God what was the purpose of letting me go through this pain? My questions go on and on and if you are like me so do yours. Questions in and of themselves is not bad for they lead to answers. Yet when our questions start picking at the character and sovereignty of God that’s when we need to be on guard. Just as God responded to Job we need to know that we worship a God who made the earth and created mankind. May we learn to trust that GOD IS GOOD and his ways are Holy and Righteous forever.

Prayer: Lord forgive me when I doubt your power. So often I think I know best. Yet as revealed in your word who am I to question the Alpha and Omega of the universe. May I trust you in everything!  Amen.

Blessings,

Steve
