Observation/ Application: I read a verse like this from the straight shooter James and can not help to think of all the times in my life where I lacked wisdom.  I lacked wisdom in every single area of my life.  My vocation, my finances, my marriage, my parenting…you name it and I lacked BIG TIME.  Yet the wisdom that James talks about is more than just worldly wisdom, it’s a spiritual wisdom.  It’s a wisdom that is described in proverbs as a voice that calls aloud in the public square!  And to think all we need to do to access this wisdom for those that love and trust Jesus is to ask!  How generous our God truly is!

Prayer: Lord thank you for your generosity.  Through the guidance of your Holy Spirit I pray you would prompt me to ask for your guidance and wisdom.  Amen.
