Observation/Application: When it comes to wisdom the absolute foundation of what we must know is where it comes from and where should we seek it.
Proverbs 2:6 answers that question for us. If I wanted to find food I wouldn’t go to a fabric store. If I needed water I wouldn’t go to the ocean. We struggle with this all the time. We try to find wisdom where there isn’t any or we look for wisdom in places that may look like a good source but the reality is that it’s salty and bad. The reality is that I have received good knowledge from my parents, financial planner, mentor’s, pastors, but what I need to take home is that absolute wisdom can be found from the LORD. His Word gives knowledge that is above all else. Make sure to spend time with that knowledge by opening up your Bible today.

Prayer: Father thank you for the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that you give to us. Help us not to take advantage of it but dedicate our lives to knowing it and living it. Amen.
