Observation/Application: I remember years ago being a part of a bible study on Saturday mornings. I was just entering college and we were meeting in the home of a young married couple.  For the past 15 minutes I have been racking my brain trying to remember what the bible study was on and for the life of me I can’t remember. The interesting this is that I consider that time a real foundation to my growth. You see what I remember most about our time was the hospitality this couple offered.  They gave of themselves, they gave of their posstions, and they gave their time.  Because they did these things I knew their love for me was sincere and anything they said I ate it up.  Paul understood the importance of sincere love, a love that is backed by hospitality and the giving to those who are in need. Let me throw out a challenge. Before the holiday rush and busyness fall upon us invite someone over for dinner in your home. Love on them, encourage them, and most importantly feed them Let’s make the meeting of needs and hospitality a part of Bernal Bible’s DNA. 

Prayer: Father thank you for your graciousness to us. You have met all our needs and in a little while we’ll be home with you and will experience ultimate hospitality. We look forward to this Father, and pray we follow you as our ultimate example.  Amen.
